Research and Lecture in Sulaymaniya

Transcultural Campaigning goes Kurdistan: Melita H. Sunjic has been invited to speak at a Congress on the Future of Kurds, organized by the University of Sulaymaniya. She also used the opportunity to talk to refugee families in Arbat.

Sulaymaniya

In her speech at the University of Sulaymaniya, Melita H. Sunjic emphasized that the demographic leaving Kurdistan is the middle class. It is the most dynamic and ambitious people who want to change their lives. These people are the backbone of every society, the ones who push for progress and economic betterment.

Experience shows that if they move to Europe in an irregular manner, they will most likely end up at the bottom of the economic food chain doing jobs below their qualification and previous social status. http://www.hennerbichler.info/futurekurds/dr.-melita-h.-sunji-.html
